I’m Anna!
Your host
at the Gesäuse HideOut.
I’m Anna Pribil
Psychologist and psychotherapist in training
& founder of the Gesäuse HideOut.
This is where I grew up. The Gesäuse is not just a region for me, it’s my home.
The majestic mountains, clear rivers and forests I’ve explored since childhood have shaped who I am.
Today I live here with my husband and our two daughters – deeply connected to this landscape.
My Passion
Nature brings me balance, gives me
strength & keeps me grounded.
I love hiking in the mountains, practising yoga and wandering through the forest. I’m also drawn back to the water time and again – to lakes or the sea, where I can enjoy my passion for sailing. Being active in nature helps me find balance, recharge and feel grounded.
Retreat. Connection. Harmony.
The idea behind the HideOut
As a psychologist, I see every day how important genuine connection is. Not superficial small talk, but honest conversations.
Moments when people open up, listen to one another and form a connection.
This nourishes the soul and gives us lasting strength.
With the HideOut, I wanted to create a place that makes all of this possible:
Retreat and connection. Calm and vitality. Body and mind in harmony.
Our physical and emotional selves are part of one whole.
When the body relaxes, the soul can breathe freely too. When we feel seen and connected, we feel a sense of ease.
The HideOut – My Treasure
A place for relaxation, joy, and genuine connection – with yourself and with others.
